About The Course
This is a one-day course, led by former paramedic Malcolm Parnell. Malcolm has years of experience in first aid issues, a qualified first aid instructor. He qualified as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid with MHFAE (Mental Health First Aid England) in 2019, but now works independently.
This course will prepare you to manage individuals with mental health issues and help you understand the supporting networks available to them. You will be better equipped to help reduce incidences of mental ill-health.
Malcolm Parnell has over 25 years‘ experience in front-line first aid, first as a paramedic and more recently as a first aid instructor (including training first aid instructors). He qualified as an instructor in Mental Health First Aid with MHFAE (Mental Health First Aid England) in 2019, but now works independently.
This course takes place on Saturday, 29th March 2025 at APM's studio in Higham Ferrers (NN10 8DN)
We'll start at 9:30am and finish at 5pm, with a couple of breaks for refreshments and an hour for lunch.
Your fee includes refreshments throughout the 1 day course. The fee does not include lunch.
The course cost is £160. You can pay the full amount today or you can pay in three monthly instalments.

Cancellation
Our policy is that we cannot guarantee a refund should you cancel later than one month before the course starts. That said, we understand that circumstances change and problems can arise which are out of your control. We'll do everything we can to fill your place, and if we're successful, then we'll refund your fee.
