Dr Malcolm Kendrick is one of the original members of the Centre For Evidence-Based Medicine in Oxford. He is a practising GP, and is famous for his stand against the cholesterol-heart disease hypothesis. Although he has a particular interest in cardiovascular disease, he is a firm believer that much of what occurs in modern medicine is very far from evidence-based, and some of it actually harms patients.

The recording of our interview with Dr Kendrick is for members only – please sign up to get access to this, plus all our other content.

Dr Kendrick is also the author of 2 very illuminating and eminently readable books: “The Great Cholesterol Con” and more recently “Doctoring Data”. As a special offer, if you would like to take out an annual subscription, we will send you a free copy of “Doctoring Data”, worth £14.99. You’ll also get a 13th month added on free of charge, making this a brilliant offer for anyone serious about their CPD
